2011 Liberty Noise

We just purchased a new 2011 Liberty Limited for my wife. We also have a 2005 Wrangler. We both love the Liberty but I noticed i hear a ticking sound when she is backing out and turning. We live in Massachusetts and have plenty of snow now. I haven't had a chance to really check it out due to the snow and cold! Everything else is great. It just might be a "normal" noise or due to the cold and snow! Any ideas?

Wheres the noise coming from? The engine bay? suspension? The 3.7L is known to tick from the engine bay due to the injectors and the plastic intake

Yes, my company's libertys, especially the new ones, all tick at idle (or any low RPM) in time with the engine speed. It's normal and not hurting anything.

Thank you!

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check it further when the snow lets up!! It seems to be coming from the front end.....steering... but maybe it's just the way i'm hearing it by standing at a distance!
