2010 Jeep Liberty Relays

I would like to identify each relay in the power distribution module in my 2010 Liberty. I have the part numbers of all the relays and I also have a fuse chart with fuse values from my owner's manual but I don't see anyplace where they identify what the function of each relay is ie fuel pump, ASD, Brakes...etc.
Can anyone point me to a link where this info is available? There is a chart inside the cover of the PDM but I can't get the cover open enough to read it since it hits up against the back of the battery.

Thanks
Paul

No the info I want isn't in the free owner's manual. I have a hard copy as well as a pdf manual and there is no mention of what the relays control.

What exactly are you after? What you are looking for exactly would help in your quest. Something you may be looking for may not have a serviceable relay.

2010 Liberty Relays

I want to know what each relay controls. For instance, one relay might control the fuel pump and another might control the ABS and another might control the starter motor. I always buy spare relays, since they just plug in and I have fixed many problems on my YJ Wrangler just by replacing relays. The relay contacts wear and get burned and corroded after a time and you can clean then or unplug the relay and replace them. I am an Electrical Engineer and it is in my blood to know exactly what controls what LOL. My 1995 Jeep Wrangler has a chart on the top of the PDM which tells you which relay controls the fuel pump, Air conditioner, ASD (automatic shutdown), and horn. I thought there would be something similar for the Liberty.

If it ain't broke..........don't fix it!

Mitchell on Demand has all the info you would need on there. Dunno if theres a shadetree book out there with detailed wiring diagrams and schematics for the relay layouts or not. Might be a little shocked at whats not controlled by a typical relay anymore though.
