The license plate screws directly into the plastic bumper if that's what you mean.

???

With no bracket, no frame, no support? Seems like something is missing from this equation.... Didn't the people who designed this vehicle consider that from license plates are REQUIRED in many states? I will make my own bracket if I have to, but cannot believe the manufacturer doesn't have one...

Thanks for the reply !

We have them in Ontario and the plate is attached to two plastic anchor thingys behind the front bumper.

I was suspicious my self that they will not last, but seem to be holding up fine.

If they strip out, I will put a strip of metal as a backing plate then use stainless hardware and some nylock nuts to eliminate the issue.

I added a plastic cover since the plate is held with just two screws at the top and the plate bent up on the hwy.

Yeah, but what does required mean, really? In California, they are REQUIRED and half the people don't have them. Hell, half the people are only rolling with vanity plates on their cars or no plate at all.

I'm gonna hang mine from the 60's desert water bag i found at a garage sale, it'll give it a newstalgia steampunk look, AND that classic Wagoneer look from the olden days!
Besides, its a Jeep--hang the front on ss chain to swing in the breeze UNDER the plastic and (check all local laws b4 you get teased-tased) find the plate in your mirror Coppers!
