2009 KK Liberty , a good choice for Extreme Hot weather and heavy Driving ?

Hello all ,,

i recently got my KK 2009, 50 K miles on it , as i red it was built like a tank ,
as all my friends told me to get a Japanese , but i just wanted this Tanky Stylish looking JEEP :2thumbsup:,

my Daily Driving Conditions as follows :rtft::

- 70 Miles a day .
- above 115 F Ev. Day - AC at full Capacity , never OFF .
- High moisture 70% or more . i live near Ocean .
- Bumpy highways and little offroading .
- little sand storms happen every now and then :cheers2:.

now after 10k miles added , problems began to show here and there ,, and am paying alot for servicing and maintaining ,

the Question is : you think JEEPS can Live these worst Driving conditions Ever ? you think i should switch to a Japanese car ?

The Jeep is a fine choice. I don't know the specifics of the problems you're having but a properly maintained Liberty is a beast that will handle just about everything thrown at her.

Its an automotive requirement for all vehicle systems to still be functional after 1000 hrs of 85C/85%RH. This is only one of many environmental tests performed on vehicles. Your Liberty should be just fine

thanks Guys am so happy for your Opinions , troubles i am having with some sensors here and there need to be changed , Nothing more ,
and some ignition issues ,

but really servicing is costing too much ,, I recently changed NGK Plugs cost me around 150$ in the Dealer ,, Normal Service every 3000 Mile is costing 180$ , i think prices in The US Is way Cheaper For Jeeps Service !! ??

Only go to the dealer for in-warranty work. (Free). Go to a private mechanic for maintenance and you'll save some money. But make sure you keep your receipts and records

Take those NGK plugs out and replace them with stock copper plugs

Doesn't NGK make the plugs for Mopar? I know they did for my old ZJ

Possibly? For $150 though I assumed that he didn't get standard copper core/nickle alloy electrode plugs and went with those fancy iridium or platinum ones
