2008 Skyslider Revisited

To any of you who tried weatherstripping only around the front edge with poor results like I did, try putting it around the back edge too.

It made such a difference when I did it today!

I could kick my butt for not doing it sooner!

Opinion. Looking to buy a 2012 with or without the skyslider. How bad is the road noise?

once I upgraded my tires from the OEMs to Yokohama YKs, my road noise went almost completely away. no skyslider. of course, like any vehicle regardless of tires, road conditions and paving medium makes a difference.

Add a $40 amazon sunroof wind deflector. Peel the tape off it and replace it with heavy duty 3M red double sided tape available at Lowes (trim with razor). It wont fit over the front of the opening, must be placed in front, but at least pushes air over the front lip of the skyslider. Big difference on highway. Have 2012 so am speaking from experience.
