2008 Liberty Nav update
 
Does anyone know where I might be able to get the Nav update for an 08 Liberty.

I looked around at the site that makes the CD's and they seem to be on back order.

NAVTEQ North America, LLC, 3630 Raines Road, Memphis, TN 38118, telephone 1-866-629-3212 or www.navigation.com You have to provide your VIN at purchase. The current cost is $149.00 with free shipping. They'll send you 2 discs, 1 DVD (Navigation Map Update North America) & 1 CD Navigation Radio Software Update). They will provide you with a PASSWORD to use when you update. Both updates take approximately 1 hour.

You can also order the updates thru your local Jeep dealer or have the Jeep dealer install them while you wait in lieu of purchasing your own. Be leery of eBay cause your radio serial number & VIN number have to match. If someone else has used the discs before, they will NOT install on yours as each time you turn on the radio, it runs an activation thru the satellite radio prior to displaying the navigation on your screen.

Wondering if these NAVTEQ updates are worth it? $149.....
I have an '09 KK, so the database is starting to show it's age, but still balk at $149 - What do you get with the software update? Any new features/incresed functionality?
