Thinking of buying a used 2008 liberty limited it has 81607 miles on it. Can anyone tell me if this is a good vehicle? What are some of the common problems these libertty's have and what should i look out for?

2008 was the first model year of the kk, and apparently there were a few glitches. It really depends on how well the previous owner took care of it and if any tsb's were addressed.
I think its kind of a crapshoot buying a used vehicle because you never know how well the PO maintained it.

I have a 2008 with 57k and I have had it for a year (had 44k when I bought it). I have a full warranty luckily. A couple small issues: the clock does not keep time, it is always behind within a week of setting it. Also the gas overfills when I fill up. These are both known issues and there is a lifetime warranty on the gas spillage issue now so you could get that fixed. I also had the rack and pinion replaced because there were popping noises when making tight turns. And one day the car was completely dead, lights wouldn't even turn on and it turned out to be a bad control module. My driver's side door has gotten pretty rusty at the hinges and makes loud groaning noises when opening. Besides that it is a great car and I have the skyslider with no issues.
