Back in the game with a 2013 JKU Sahara

I had a few jeeps in the past, the last one was a 98 TJ on 35s, strictly a toy and a second vehicle. After I got rid of it, I regretted not having a jeep and I don't want two vehicles again, so I got this as a compromise... I won't be upgrading the suspension or power train since it would void the warranty, but maybe some bigger tires and some add ons. What do you think of powder coating the stock Sahara rims black?

Hey congrats!

I'm actually considering powder coating my rims flat black myself. Is it something that can be a DIY and if someone has done it, I'd like to see the results.

I'd go get a set of wheels and tires off of a JKU Rubicon the 32" BFG M/T's still factory jeep..? Also idk how this effects the warranty but you could get a full suspension off of a stock rubicon possibly.. Once again not sure how this will effect the warranty just an idea

I think I can do a 2" leveling kit and squeeze 33s under there without any rubbing. I'm not planning on doing any serious wheeling for a while, so that should do. And if like to keep those rims if possible just have them gloss black. I got a price for $95 a wheel, so I'm thinking I might do it.

Nice rig. Really like the rims.
