I bought this jeep for my wife as a family car in 2009, it had 64000 mi on it. I was told that it used to have a small short arm lift on it before the PO had it. As it sits it is bone stock except for the wheels and tires. I have a Rock Krawler 3.5" or 4" Long Arm Lift coming(RK calls it a 3.5", 4wheelparts call it a 4"). I plan on putting Dick Cepek Mud Countrys 35x12.5s on the same wheels. I am building a front bumper out of nothing myself to use as an air tank also, I hope to get ARBs on both axles. We are expecting a baby here in a month so we just bought a Tahoe for my Wife so now I get to build My jeep the way I want. Two of my cousins also have TJ's, but theirs were all done when they bought them. I wanted to build mine the way I wanted everything, that is why I started with a stock older TJ. Problem is my wife didn't know how expensive my jeep was going to turn out(when we got married we agreed I can build it when she got her new car), and I didn't know how expensive having one kid would be. So I am collecting parts slowly, and when I get enough of them together I hope to get it all done in one shot. Build thread may be coming.
