Just out of curiosity, what made you want to ditch the straight 6 and get a v8? Are you rock crawling?

The V8 gives me best in horsepower and torque and a loss of 145 pounds ( LS1 is all alumninum block and heads). I can do the GM for about $5000.00 less then a Hemi. I go a good deal on the LS1, came out of a 2000 chevy camero Z28 with 71000 miles.
