What years of grand cherokees to get rear disc brake hardware from for conversion?

I want to convert my 94 Yj with rear drum brakes to disc brakes. I am not interested in doing an 8.8 swap. I read that using parts from grand cherokees will work. What years should I look at? Any models with a D35 rear?
Thanks

The six cylinders have the dana 35. Im not sure if the brake parts will swap or not though. The axle housing is quite a bit different than a yj.

D35 and D44A use the same brake calipers over all years. So it doesnt matter which you get them from. Obviously new, low mileage probably better.

Now the D30 up front older Teves vs newer Akebono. Most people will go Akebono. Dont know what year they changed from Teves to Akebono.

What I did for mine, might be up ur alley. I used the backing plates from an 8.8 and the 8.8 calipers. Used the rotors and soft brake lines from a grande cherokee. This is the easiest way I have found to do it. The only modification needed to do is drill the holes on the backing plate outward slightly with a 1/4 inch drillbit, they r like 1/16 off from ours. Ne year of grand cherokee will work, they all use the same brakes. Both zjs and wj's brakes will work. I put this on my rear dana 44, so yes it'll work the same on ur dana35.

Would like to know why this thread was moved to grand Cherokee forum when its about my wrangler. It was directed at YJ owners who have converted to rear disc brakes using hardware from a grand Cherokee.

Get with one of the YJ mods and get them to move it back.

Btw OP- you're probably looking for ZJ brakes, WJ brakes are bigger/different /different bolt pattern.

Typing on phones sucks.
