Jeep Information

I'm getting ready to move my YJ from South Florida to Chicago...1300 miles. I was going to rent a dolly but started reading on flat towing. Need some advice and instruction.

1. What's the best method for towing? Are any of these harmful?
- flat
- dolly
- cart (obviously not harmful but more expensive)

2. If I flat tow what do I need to do and how? Disconnect the drive shaft? I replaced the rear yolk so I'm assuming that's the point at which I disconnect to tow...correct? Just leave in neutral?

Thanks for the help!
