I bought Eugene nearly 10 years ago when I was a senior in high school. I wanted a CJ7, but I couldn't find a decent one for the price range I was looking for. I bought the YJ and never looked back!

I've blown up 2 Dana 30's, so I swapped in an 8.25 out of a '93 XJ. The BA10/5 Peugot trans wound up full of water and stuck in fifth gear, so I installed an AX-15. The engine is original with at least 200,000 mi. The odometer read 117,000 when the speedo cable broke 8 years ago.

I drove the Jeep daily for 7 years, which put a lot of wear and tear on it. Fortunately, I've had it in the garage for a year now, and I'm slowly repairing the hundreds of little problems. I'll have her restored in about 30 years.
