I had a 1977 CJ7 about 5 years ago but had to sell it to pay some bills. I just bought a 1995 YJ bone stock ready for any mods I can throw on it. I like the newer transmission better then the 4 speed I had. Since first was a granny gear it was realistically like a 3 speed. The CJ7 was great for off road but kinda made driving daily a challenge considering I live in southern California and nearly all driving is done on the freeway. So I bought the jeep thinking it was turn key ready to drive but two days after I bought it the head gasket blew and now Im re doing the head. Wish me luck!

CHEERS!
