Jeep Information

Year:1980

Model:CJ7

Engine:258 L6 4.2

I just picked up a 1980 cj7 and I am trying to get it smogged so I can get it registered. Smog guy said the CTO valve for my TBI unit is in the wrong place. I think I know where it should go, but want to make sure before I tear into it. Right now it is behind and below the TBI unit connected to the engine. Shouldn't it be located in front of the unit on the intake manifold? Again, not completely sure!
