This is my daughters first car! She said she wanted something old, four wheel drive, convertible, and with a manual transmission that she could afford.

So, she bought a 1961 jeep out of a barn. All the parts are there but nothing is put together. She is going to attempt a frame off restoration with a great deal of guidance from friends and family.

I dont think she could have picked an easier car to overhaul. Wiring, body, engine are all about as basic as it can get. I hope she proves me wrong and rebuilds it into a toy she can have for the rest of her life. That would be AWESOME!

Day 1, she inventoried and cleaned all of the parts that were thrown into the trailer when we picked it up.
Day 2, she scrubbed the chassi and tub (6" of bird droppings...ewe).
Day 3, she is ready to start taking off parts and on!
