Whats the common lift height for running 235/75/15s, 2.5''?

whats the most common lift height for running 235/75/15s, 2.5''?

I checked thru the faq and some of the lifted sticky thread, but if i can get a few quick replies here that'd be great.

I work for a dealership and we just got an 06 KJ 48k miles on brand new Cooper Discoverer STT's and black wheels, it looks sharp.

heres a link to it for picture reference

It looks like that 06 has a lift on it of some type, 2 to 2.5" maybe. Early models (02) had 235's as an option from the factory & did not require a lift - if memory serves me.

My '04 Limited came stock with 235s. I've upgraded to 245s with no lift on the stock 16" wheels. The only rubbing I get is making a sharp right turn from the front driver's side tire as it rubs a little on the inside flare plastic. But not a issue.

With 245s...

235/75-15? That's a typo, right? 15" wheels were never used on the KJ, and 235/75s are not a common size in the 16s. The only tire I'm aware of in that size is the Firestone Destination AT.

a few more pics, any input on these tires? all 5 are brand new. this KJ is really growing on me. we'll see how stuff on the ZJ goes, i just had to replace the computer for 600 bones and the transmission about a year and a half before that. over 3k in repairs and maintanence in the 3 years ive had my ZJ, really starting to lean towards a different rig. any good KJ advice or words of wisdom about coming over from a gc?

Have the STT's on the TJ. Work well for offroad, not a quiet tire on road by any means though.

You're joking right?

15" wheels will fit with aftermarket wheels.

I didn't say they wouldn't fit. I said they never used 15s on the KJ from the factory, which is a true statement.

I thought the guy meant that somebody brought in a KJ with 15" wheels on it. I didn't realize they were AFTERMARKET wheels.

For the record...that looks pretty good and the STTs are excellent tires. I ran them on my Ram 1500 when the tire had just come out 5 years ago or so.
