Got a call yesterday morning from my daughter saying there is a red "brake light" on the dashboard of our 03 KJ. Checked it out last night and found front pass side brake line near caliper sprung a leak. Resorvoir was less than 1/2 full. A new brake line and fluid this morning: $22.00. She's all good again.

Here's what I did.

Put some new all-terrain tires on and painted my spare tire while I wait for the weather to warm so I can do the other 4. Afterwards, I covered it up nicely with a brand new tire cover.

I cut off the bottom half of my front bumper. It looks beastly. Also hammered back a lip in the rear wheel-well that gets pulled out when I scrub. She's going in the shop tomorrow for some collision repair. Coming soon is new homemade tube-steel bumpers and new bump-stops. I might end up making a thread about it.

Inspected my LBJ's that were supposedly replaced 3 months ago by the dealership I bought the jeep from only to find they were moving 1/4 inch.

Went on to jeep.com and according to them there is still an open recall on the LBJ's for my KJ so not too thrilled about being lied to by the dealership.

So sexy, my lift will be here next week ( got the A arms, bumpstops, rear iso's, and strut plates from JBA) the OME struts and shocks are on national recall. I eventually want my kj to look like these!
