Dipped my remaining emblems

And rearranged my cargo area

Then cut off my shock boots. Needless to say I will never use them again.

Heat them up with a hair dryer or use fishing line to " cut " them off . Looks better with them off IMO. Removed all of mine 8 years ago

Just finished removing my remaining emblems this morning. Hair dryer, then dental floss to cut behind them. Finished with Turtle Wax bug/tar remover and polished residue away.

Just got back from a 4,000 mile round trip road trip with the liberty, going from Boulder, CO to way Northern NY. Jeep ran like a champ the whole way! Was excited to be able to run pure gas in Nebraska and Iowa. Can't really comment on any power difference because I was also descending in elevation.

Averaged between 21 and 24 mpg for the trip. I assume I got 24 because I was slowly going down from the mountains. Ranged about 380 miles per tank between refills.

Flushed the cooling system, replaced thermostat, water pump and oil pressure sending switch on my 02 KJ. All three were the originals and lasted 152,913 miles!

I need to do this. I hate having to carry around a 2x4 everywhere I go
