Replaced factory stereo with Alpine CDE-HD149BT. Put the Bluetooth mic on the A pillar and ran the iPod cord through the "open space/shelf" thing. Sound is a definite upgrade.

New swaybar bushings, along with new end links:-). At least this time I tightened my links with the jeep on the ground. Noisy 60.00 lesson learned!

Changed the oil, got hot oil on the arm and chest which is always fun, attempted rear brakes but gave up cause I had no idea where to start. Also cleaned up some of the mess in the rear seats and cargo area and topped of the washer fluid

Drum or disc brakes? Disc brakes are pretty straight forward and easy, but if you haven't had your hands in brakes much, its understandable that you would be a little intimidated.

Take your time, and do one side at a time. Match up the pads, IIRC the driver side pads differ slightly from the passenger side. Look at the ends.

Changed my tranny fluid and filter. Thought I had a 5speed Auto, turns out I have a 4speed auto. Ended up having to go back to Napa to exchange filter gaskets. Used this thread 1295083 to reference for the part.

Decided to test its performance at elevation again. Also had to go up and verify I'll hit radio repeaters where I'm assigned to be for the race next weekend.

Starting gate to the race

View I'll have at the race

Approaching the switchback on our way down

Sitting at the summit house on Pikes Peak

The little KJ that did.

Replaced a secondary chain tensioner. Didn't everyone do this today?

Need to get the damper on, get the fans back in and fire it up.

Yeah I was wearing a jacket. It was 40's up there sunday, before the rain, hail, and snow hit. We got all four seasons in a matter of hours.
