KK vs KJ
Hmm...so, what are the mechanical differences (other than the body/looks) that occured at changeover from KJ to KK? Is either more capable off road or are they about the same? Stock vs Stock, of course...

Just a reminder for some. We had 2 sessions with the Jeep Engineers that could be worth reading if you have the time. It's just good info anyway.
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f144/04-18-q-session-2007-liberty-403834/ http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f144/11-28-q-session-2008-jeep-liberty-490197/ Personal opinions mean a lot to me too so keep those questions coming. I read them too.

The Dode Nitro version of the platform has a 3.7 & 4.0 engine option. The JEEP Liberty version only comes with a 3.7 engine, you can't get it with a 4.0. HOWEVER, you can buy a Nitro, and get all the Liberty logos and stuff, and have a 4.0 Liberty, say it's RARE.

Only the KJ had a diesel option 05-06. The KK did not. The diesel has 295 foot- lb of torque lot of fun to have and get up to 30 mpg.
