Want to add button to stick shifter (manual tranny) to shut off lift bar

I want to add a momemtary button to my stick so I can turn off the light bar quick when someone is coming at me, but the switch has a relay in it. Anyone done this before?

Sure get a 30 or 40Amp NC relay and wire it up to a switch on the shift knob I suggest "racerboy" they make a great deal of RF and IR Gear Shift knobs with 2 to 6 buttons each (normally used for NoS or Go-go lights it would do the job)

Find the Power Wire comming from the exsisting switch to the Light bar and Splice in the NC relay, (an NC relay is a relay that is normally closed and when power is applied it opens)

Yeah, that'd probably be easier than my suggestion.

I just don't naturally think "Rice" to solve problems haha, even though a valve cover breather makes a great air intake for an onboard air pump. . .
