So here we go.

2005 Jeep liberty 3.7L 4x4 Renegade

2 rebuilt Transmission in last 60 days. Each getting cooked. New Torque Converter. Trans cooler and line flush. Trans rebuilt and service by Chrysler.

On the freeway for longer than 15 mins. Trans Temp light comes on. Stays on for about 10 mins and then triggers Check engine light. Throwing generic TCC code.

If I stay off free way check engine light clears it self until trans heats up again on freeway

Any ideas? Have seen similar issues on other threads usually resulting from a plugged cooler. any other ideas?! PLEASE HALPPP!:(:(:(

Thanks

When the cooler was flushed, did they remove the cooler from the Jeep?

The way the lines go into it, unless it's removed, the flush ain't gonna work. Had to remove it to flush mine when I replaced my transmission. My husband's an HVAC master and he wouldn't let me flush it on the Jeep...he turned it on its end, then flushed top to bottom. Lots o'crap came out of mine...and lots out of the lines, too.
