Transmission grinding

My transmission has been making an occasional grinding noise during stop and go city driving. It's almost like it will get stuck In between 1st and 2nd and grind until I let of the gas and let it catch up.

04' liberty limited 3.4l. Automatic 150,000 mi.

My question is, should I spend the money to fix it and continue my upgrades to the suspension, or is there a better liberty to put my money into?

Before you fork over the money, inspect your R/F cv shaft and intermediate shaft for wear. When worn badly, they will make grinding noises.

Check the rear CV / Boot on the front drive shaft as well
Fix it, 150,000 isn't even broke in yet

Yeah, I know the noise from the front driveshaft vc, I have replaced them before. What makes me think it's something else is the loss of power during the grinding noise.
