I'm new to all of this and I wanted to swap out my auto tranny for a manual one. I was thinking about letting a garage do it or just do it myself with some help. How hard would this task be and should I let a shop do it or do it by myself? Thanks in advance

hope you have a lot of time on your hands and like headaces. if you do find a wreck with a manual tranny for the parts. conversion parts needed from the dealer would break you. do yourself a faver and just keep saving for the tj, most of them are manuals anyway.
