Hey guys, I need to put a hitch and wire it up for my '06 KJ. What parts did you guys use? What hitch and what wiring harness?

etrailer has some good plug and play lighting kits no cutting/ splicing, just pull the tail lights out and plug the harness in
Several hitches out there, UHaul makes a good one for 100/125 price range plus they will install it if you don't have the tools.
If you are going to install it , get a 12 mmX 1.75 tap and clean the holes out good in the frame, they get pretty rusty some times , 6 holes, 3 per side!
Hope that helps

that does help. I was looking at the etrailer wiring kits. Dealership wanted close to $200 for just the wiring I'll call U-haul and see what they have for hitches. I've no problem installing it myself.

I got the hitch from U-haul for $129, and I'm gonna order the wiring tonight. Hitch install was a piece of cake, just had to remove the right rear tire to get the socket around the exhaust.
