Tires for 17"

Okay I've searched a lot on this and the answers are sort of all over.
I know the 17 inch rim is pretty much useless and not known for its variety of available tire choices.

I have a 2005 Limited running the stock size 235/65R17. I'd like to find a decent looking aggressive tire for all around use. I hated the Wrangler HP OEM, currently using destination LE, which looked "Egh" and didn't wear very well.

Without making any vehicle mods does anyone have any good suggestions or photos of what you are running?

Thanks

What is the measurement from the middle of your hub to the bottom of your wheel well? Just wondering how much sag you are already dealing with on the suspention.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2s run 235/80R17. Theyre a very nice tire, if they fit I highly recommend em. I run 265/70R17 and love em.

I run a 3" RC Lift right now with minor rubbing in the front. Im upgrading to a 4" JBA lift to eliminate all rubbing.

Nice ride! Not sure I want to invest in a lift at this point.
95BadBoy, I have about 17.75" from hub to highest contact point of the wheel well trim(The well itself is much deeper),
Rear is around 18.5"

My stock OEM size was also 235/65/17 just like yours. It is a PIA for tire options. You should also be able to run a 245/65/17with stock height without rubbing but that would be it so you could look for tire types in that size also.

Anything bigger and you will need to be lifted to have clearance. Once mine was lifted I had more options.

This should help you out a little for choosing a wheel size. This is a chart done by JBA.
