Sunroof wont close

I have a 2006 Liberty Limited and the sunroof is stuck on tilt. I can open it, though it sounds like the motor is going. Does anyone know if I can manually close the sunroof and how?

Was it OEM or a dealer installed option? I had a dealer installed roof on my 2006 and had issues closing it. Turned out to be a faulty track which needed replacing. Sorry I can't help more.

Ouch, mine was covered under warranty. We were able to get it to close by opening and closing it back and forth while lightly tapping on the glass with my fist. It closed, we kept it closed then brought it to the dealer and told them to fix it, as it was unacceptable as is.

I'd try an independent mechanic and see what they quote. Good luck!
