stock renegade needs new struts, the mechanic tells me to replace stock ones for $650. im planning on adding a lift, he says a second pair of struts get added and these still need to be fixed. should i go ahead and fix these or just buy the suspension lift?

Oh and new front shocks are not 650 bucks you can almost buy a complete lift kit for that

Get the lift. Lifts that get the most thumbs up from owners come with OME's. Just personal opinion on that one.

OME also has multiple springs of different ratings to match what you want. A little looking around should confirm that your mechanic is pretty much clueless as mentioned above. You can buy pieces and assemble yourself, or buy completely assembled kits - for more dough of coarse.
