Squeaking, only in left turn...

When we turn let in our 03 KJ, we can hear a fait squeaking sound... sounds to me like it is coming from the drivers front side. Any ideas? I havent gotten the ball joint recall done yet, could this be it?

Thanks

Glad to see she has Cooper ATRs. I like mine. I doubt it is the balljoint. If it had play, it might be a clunk instead of a sqeek. I think it is the brakes. Things flex some, and it may be that the brake pads on that side wore a little faster than the right side did. Could be the warning plate telling you it is time for replacement.

Like BVCRD said, ball joints tend to clunk. Could be the sway bar bushings..

I'll second the opinion on the sway bars. I started getting a squeak in mine after I put my lift on, asked around and it was recommended that I lube my sway bar bushings. Once I did that (and discovered I had re-assembled one of the sway bar connections incorrectly) the squeak went away. Now I have one coming from the front right which is apparently the torn dust cover on the Rancho strut, I just haven't bothered to get in there and take it out. Hope this helps.

EDIT: well, I found out the sqeaking/chirping sound was not the dust cover. Went to Walmart and got a can of silicone lubricant, hit all the bushings (upper control arm, all swaybar linkages) and the noise is gone (for now). Makes sense that it was the bushings since it would only happen in a left turn or if just one wheel went over a bump; if both wheels went over it was fine.
