Sold the Liberty

We sold the 2002 Liberty today. A bit sad since we ordered it new October of 2001 just after 9/11.

With 193K miles I accepted a 3200 dollar offer.

The paint was in good shape, the interior very presentable and there was zero rust.

I have appreciated the support from the group here. I will pop back in every once in a while and offer advice when I can.

A dad bought it for his 17 year old daughter. I think it is the perfect car for a young person learning to drive. Peppy. Good visability. Smallish but sturdy. I hope she enjoys it as much as we did.

So long and goodbye 'Lady Liberty'....

It's sad to know that you sold your 2002 Liberty, but It was your decision. I still have my wife's 2002 Sport, bought on November 2002 which is reaching the 80,000 miles soon. Don't have plans to sell it for the next few years, since is still giving very good service!

Anyway, If you still want to stay on this forum, buy another Jeep... I would do it!

Regards!!

Yeah, it was weird watching someone else drive off in it. If it only had 80K like yours we probably would still have it.

I am not jeepless I still have the 82 cherokee!

Wife went in another direction and is now driving a CTS. 2016 with 10K miles. We will only keep it for a couple of years.
