Yep,though not a easy job a a KJ since it's on top of the gas tank(not in it).

The industry standard is every 30k.

Not to thread jack but im also in need of changing my fuel filter. I see a access panel above under the carpet but I can tell ots never been opened is this meant to be opened to make the job easier or is it just there for the hell of it?

In the liberty you have to rip up the carpet because it is on top of the gas tank. Im assuming its access to the gas tank?

I'll hijack too, since I'm in the same boat, 102K miles, and to the best of my knowledge (I'm the second owner), it's never been done. Great write up on how to do it on the link. I wonder why it's not in the scheduled maintenance for the KJ?
