shaking wheel when I brake

wondering if anyone would know why this happens. It pretty much happens when I am going like faster (55 ish or around) and slowing to go around country roads. My husband replaced my brakes. last winter I hidroplaned. would this have hurt something in my truck and making it do this now? Why is my wheel shaking when I brake? help is greatly appreciated!!
Jen

Shaking when braking is always one of two things:

Warped rotors..

-or-

loose steering/suspension parts. (ie: tie rod ends, ball joints)

Usually around 55 and up if its suspension you can usually feel it. I am not saying thats not it...but have the rotors checked out and resurfaced. I bet they are warped.

I would say warped rotors with a lot of certainty.
