Run out of Diesel now wont start

My wife ran our 2005 jeep Liberty 2.8CRD out of diesel and now that we have put some more fuel in it will now start!

I have tried priming the fuel with the pump until fuel came out the nipple but still it wont start!

Any ideas?

Did you try the pump on top of the filter?

You need to bleed the injectors. crack them open a little before you turn it over.. not while it's turning over.
