RB1 Navigation installation question

Hello,
I am a new owner of a 2006 Liberty Sport that I bought yesterday. I am looking into a few enhancements and I saw some RB! Navigation head units that are for sale. I have the basic stereo with single CD player.
Has anyone replaced this basic system with the Navigation unit? Is it as simple as swapping out the head unit , plug and play?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not familiar with the KJ head units, but just thought id add that you would most likely need to have a navi antenna mounted somewhere.

I did find this link with a set of instructions on installation.
This is pretty straightforward and you do need to install the GPS antenna.
It is supposed to be installed under the dashboard as shown in the picture.

well if you don't want to keep the oem look, why not check out what crutchfield has to offer.

I did check Crutchfield and decided to go with an Alpine receiver with Bluetooth and audio streaming. Nice system for $129. No GPS, but this should work fine since this is an extra car.
