power window anomoly

My wife has a new 09 Liberty and has been driving it about two weeks. A couple of days ago she went to the gym to work out. She always leaves her purse and cell phone in the car so they wion't get stolen in the gym. Items are concealed inside the Jeep, doors locked and windows rolled up. She comes out after her workout and the doors are unlocked and the windows partially down. None of her stuff was missing. Purse and I Phone were still there. She was rattled and concerned about how this could have happened. I am curious if there are any reports of problems like this with Liberty power controls. Does Jeep have any service bulletins about simialr problems? Thanks to all for any input.

Have you by any chance thought that you wife may have unknowingly left the windows partially down and doors unlocked?

power windows and wife

OK, I have considered that she just plain left the windows down except that I have been married to her for THIRTY years. She is phobic about locking her car and securing everything. I misspoke about the door locks....she said the FRONT windows were exactly the same and were half way down but the doors were LOCKED. I will monitor it....so will she....and report if any further happenings occur. I suspect she inadvertently pushed the two window switches on the master control and simply didn't notice she had done it.....BUT....as I said, we have been married for THIRTY years and one thing I learned within the first few months is NOT TO EVER suggest OPERATOR ERROR on her part!! I appreciate any info if anyone experiences such a wirrd thing on their Liberty.
