Part time light on all the time

I have a 2003 Liberty. The part time light was just flashing off and on. Now it is on all the time and it feels as if the 4 wheel drive is on all the time. I can't get it to go off. Any ideas? I have referred to the manual and done what it says but it will not disengage.

Have you tried going backwards in a straight line? Has this only happen since you used 4WD?

Easy to tell if your really in Part time, try turning a tight circle on asphalt. If everything starts binding up don't force it, just straighten out quickly.
