I always install mine after springs are in. Just need a longer bolt and another puck and you'll be good to go!

Is BDS a bad lift to get? I don't do very much offroad like I mentioned. This is mainly for looks. The reason I ask is on ok4wd.com the price is a little bit cheaper for me to get it and have everything installed and aligned. I believe they said it was around $1000 and change for everything. That doesn't included the jba uca's. I will get those as soon as I can afford them.

Yeah it was close to a little I over $1k. If that's the case ill just get the OME one and my buddy said he could help me install it. I at least know that will come with everything needed. Does jba do the strut assembly for customers who can't?

I'm running the Frankenlift 2 Premium kit on mine and I love it! The front strut assembly was a fun experience to install...plus the included sticker is freakin' awesome, just saying.

Double check
you'll have to buy new upper and lower isolator's and also a top plate for them to do it, since now of that comes with the springs.
Unless Marlin is providing those items and installing everything for free

Yeah I called marlin yesterday. Hopefully I hear back from him. I'm pretty sure my suspension should get redone beings it's the original one with over 85k miles on it.

Just go with Marlin for the parts and get your friend to help. I did basically that. I think everything in parts was around 1200 for my HD CRD OME kit with long travel rear shocks and the arms, bump stops and all. then I paid a mechanic friend $200 to do it on the side at his house. I did help with some of it but he did most of it while I was at work. he even gave me a car that he was selling to drive around in complete with 4 sale signs while the jeep was torn apart. My jeep was done Sunday night and Tuesday I took it for an alignment that cost me $55.

a local jeep/4x4 shop quoted me $700-800 to install the parts and $150-200 for an alignment, the second shop Hoake's 4x4 in Wrightville, PA never even called me back and after going in to see them the sales/service writer lady just took my number again and no call back. I got the impression that people were scared to lift up a Liberty or didn't want to be bothered with the job. Jeff who did mine is proud of it and is now asking how his Jeep is every time I see him LOL.
