New Jeep Liberty owner needs help

Hello! Im sorry if i mess something up, im new to this forums, its going to take some time to get used to .i am 17 years old and lives in Ontario, Canada. I had purchased a 2007 Jeep Liberty (stock body, breaks all the safety goods). It runs really well and i love it. I dont know weather it is a KJ or KK. Okay so my problem with my jeep is that, the left turn signal would not go down. Like i flick it down but it flicks it back into place, When i hold it down the turn signal works. I asked a friend and he said it could be a spring but im reaching out to you all for help. im sorry if this wasn't well described but ill reply and edit later when im off school.

Make sure when you buy a new Multifunction Switch as it is named that there are two different types...one for KJs fitted with front fog lights and one for KJs without front fog lights.

2002 2.5 Export CRD Manual 5 speed.
