Need ScanGauge II XGauge Auto-Transmission Temp code
I have a ScanGauge II with XGauge and want to monitor the automatic transmission temperature. I have been unable to find the Xgauge code, if there is one. My ScanGauge does report water temp, etc. but not trans temp.

Both the Scanguage & Maxi -Trip are unable to read transmission temps.
It may be because the TCM/PCM are dealer accessible only/ separate of OBDII codes. I am pretty sure you could put a manual gauge in there, but for the price, I would just put a larger trans cooler in there and then forget about it. |

Good luck getting any thing to scan the tranny on the CRD. Unless you are moving a big load, I would not even start to worry about a hot tranny, that tranny is used on V-8s.
