Lighter Fuse keeps blowing!

Hello -
My gf has a 2004 Liberty and the cig lighter fuse keeps blowing. She has a Magellen Maestro 4250 plugged into it most of the time and it has gone thru about 8 20A fuses in the last couple of months. She switched out the power cord for the Magellen and it keeps happening. Any ideas on how to determine if there is a short to the lighter outlet? Or could it be the actual Magellen itself? Any help or ideas is appreciated. Thanks!

Only thing you can really do is plug something you don't really care about into it and see what happens. But it sounds like the actual outlet may be flawed And causing the issue. Try replacing the Cig lighter.
