lifted now getting banging noise

Just lifted 04 liberty 2.5 day star brand new Moog coils. Getting banging noise in front over bumps. Driver tire rod has a little play in it. Front axles I can move by hand up an down a little. Any ideas. Everything's tight. Maybe suspension settling? I
Any input is great

Are you running stock UCA's? If so they could be hitting against the spring

Not to mention you're likely getting coil bind now. Only way to prevent that would be to put longer bump stops in front, but at the cost of reduced travel. Lots of issues with daystars all over this board.

It could be a number of things
Longer bumpstops help
BUT main issue is the Daystar lift combined with weak stock coils and shocks.
The suspension already weak now works even harder which creates more problems .
I wouldn't think you'd have UCA/springs contact since it shouldn't be that high
Also how did the alignment come out? Did they get it close ?
Did you tighten the sway bar links AFTER full weight was on the ground ?

Alignment near perfect. Brand new coils. Sway bars tightened with full weight of the jeep on the ground

And yes stock upper control arms

My lifted KJ's "bang" came from the struts topping out.

Had it too high or using a spacer lift will do that

Found the noise an fixed it an order new lower ball joint since both boots are tore open
