Liberty Wheel Spacer/Adapter?

I recently purchased 4 cragar soft 8's 16x8 for my 04 KJ. The bolt pattern on these wheels is 5x5, would the best route be to buy wheel spacers with adapters that go from my 5x4.5 to 5x5? Will these work ok? i know spidertrax makes some nice ones.

If they are indeed 4" - with the spidertrax adapter you'll be at 2.75 - way too far out there I'm thinking. You will be rubbing all over the place most likely. Factory wheel is 5" backspacing IIRC.

First post - welcome aboard ! Detroit Lakes is fairly close too.

Good to here you are running adapters with JK wheels - been thinking about doing just that. Are you running 245/70's ? Hopefully will test that same program B4 winter hits full force.

Ok the specs are 16x7 wheels with 4 inches of backspacing. Bolt pattern 5x5.

If you had a matching 4.5" bolt pattern you could probably run those 4" backspaced steelies with maybe a some rub, but by the time you factor the 1.25" for the adapter you are at only 2.75" - me thinks it is putting rim/tire too far out and you'll be into your wheel wells and/or flares big time. If I'm way off base - someone here surely will correct me. I would look for the right bolt pattern steelies and take a shot on selling that set. FWIW

I am running 245/60/18's and they are as big as I would go with out a lift. They do rub if you turn all the way backing up or something other wise you never have a problem. I love the set up, but I amy going to jack up my liberty in like 2 weeks and I have some tires for 16" wheels. Want to buy mine or trade? My tires are almost ready to be replaced and I am a tire dealer so I can get you a good deal if you want new ones put on!!!!

Let me know!

I go to Grand Forks everyonce and a while

Excuse the jeep being a little dirty. I cleaned the wheels since this pic and they clean up great!

Im pretty sure the factory BS is 5.5" but I would have to agree I think they would be sticking out too far.

Nice limited. Going to go with some machined finished 17" JK wheels and some GY Silent Armours for winter, but appreciate the offer though. I get over there from time to time - my brother lives south of you on lake lizzie.
