Liberty Sport won't start engine- consider alarm system malfunction

I have Jeep Liberty Sport Diesel 2003 with 120 000 miles. It was working perfectly up until yesterday, I turn it off at the gas station and when i got back it didn't start up again. I considered driving it to dealer but the next morning it started again like nothing happened. when i turned it off and put alarm on, the problem started again but this time it won't start. I noticed that engine is working but it just doesn't receive any fuel. i think it maybe is alarm system not working correctly but i'm not sure. i heard something about EGR, what do you think? is there a way to fix it myself?

Hi
When it doesn't start can you try turning the key on off 3 times but not start it see if you get any codes come up in the display. will the engine turn over? if so it's not the alarm.

I would imagine there would be a fuse for that that you could just pull out and disengage power to it, however I am a toyota person, so I dont know what kind of implications would arise buy defusing it. I believe the fuse for that is in the box in the engine bay by the battery. If defusing it causes any weird **** to happen, just stick the fuse back in.

Hi
Do you have the SKIM light on the dash? this will tell you the immobiliser is on. The alarm is only the alarm It's the SKIM around the key barrel and the key that is the immobiliser and I can't tell you how to get around it. Reset would be to just disconnect and reconnect the battery.
Regards,
Merlin

it's not the immobiliser. well just in case, the problem is actually fuel not going to engine, because i can see engine working but it won't ignite. i thought it maybe is power lock malfunctioning, what do you think
