the best bet would be to tell him to get some recovery points... Not really sure as there is an all-that safe recovery point without a hitch or hooks...

well when i didnt have recovery points in my xj i pulled from my swaybar up front and leafs in back. i was just curious as to where i could pull him if he were to get stuck tonight with no points as a last option. everything went good though. i dont stress enough to everyone to get tow points. no one thinks they need them though

On any organized trial rides I've ever attended, tow hooks were mandatory Period, or you got turned away.

Someone sent me a PM about them but their inbox is full. BTW they have a couple scratches on them from me hitting rocks with em, but a little rattle can and they'll look good as new.
Off topic, wth is with the 5 PM limit? 20 would be a lot better even for free accounts. Guess I shouldn't complain ![]()

I go thru mud too quickly

you could try wrapping a strap around an axle, i had to do that once on a little focus that got caught in a flooded street and sucked water into the engine...
just be careful, and try to stay straight |

To be helpful to the thread:
If you put a strap around your axle you are taking a very dangerous route. It's too easy to accidentally hit the gas with the tow rig and snap off your axle mounts. The welds on them aren't strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle. Snap your axle mounts and it's over unless you got a trail welder. There should be some hole in the "frame" rails that you can either hook something to, or worst case scenario you can wrap a strap around the first cross member. Those things are tough, trust me, haha. If you strap around the cross member make sure you don't put the strap near any steering/tie rod components that could be bent.
