Lets See All Your Lifted Liberty KJ's!!!

I'm getting some new 31" Goodyear Duratrac shoes for the CRD in a couple days and wanted to see what others have done and what it might look like afterwords. Noticed there are alot of other vehicle specific lift threads here, but none here for KJ's. Sure, a generic owners pic thread, but none specifically for lifted Liberty's with bigger tires. I'll go 1st!!!

Stock (the day I brought it home)

Looks good but why did you get rid of the nerf bars?

Not sure how to direct post on this forum so here's a link to my kj album over on cherokeeforum. It's a 2 inch lift with 33x12.5 BFG muds on 15x8 cragars with 4 inch b/s and 1.5 inch wheel spacers all around. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/members...6324/albums/kj

I'm waiting on my sheet of 3/16 plate to arrive so I can make reinforcment bands to hold it together long enough to start my sas. 4x4 drivetrain and aluminum, not one of Chrysler's best decisions.

Put them on 9/25/09 with 129,865 on the KJ, now have over 136,000 and doing great , ride is good, wearing well, do fantastic in the snow that we've had, little hum between 35-45 but not lous enough to not to be able to talk inside, just a low hum
I'd buy another set for sure!

Yeh, I was really torn between the Duratracs and Cooper ST's.......I really like that more tire manufactures are designing aggressive all terrains/mild m/t's. For a very long time, Cooper was the only one that had a tire like this. Then the Pro Comp X-A/T came out, now the duratrac and Dunlop Maxx Trac (actually would have went with this tire, but not available in 15" sizes yet). Can't wait to see what the next gen BFG A/T will look and perform like.

The Dunlops and Duratracs were considered when ThunderbirdJunkie got his new rubber.

The ProComps? Nah, wouldn't put those on a wheelbarrow.

Wound up putting the Cooper S/T's on because of prior experience.

BTW, 1badxj, where in MS are ya? Family lives in OB.
