Do you use just one new upper rear iso per side?

They're not installed yet but I will be using two new ones per side plus the originals, for 6 total. That's what I read a lot of guys doing on JeepKJ.com.

Pic thread so... I got all this stuff going on tomorrow morning

Looks like fun!!

Got the lift and wheels on today! I think it looks a lot better and it should help a lot with picking up the ground clearance lost from sagging coils and old shocks. 4" backspacing is perfect for the wheels. It pushes the tires out to the edges of the fender flares where they should be, which even made the stock 29" tires look better. The overall stance is infinitely better than before.

My $95 "lift kit" gave me just over 2" in the front and just under 2" in the rear. My front hub to fender measurement is now 20-1/8". I'm sure the isos will flatten down a little and the coils may settle down some again, but I don't see losing any more than 1/4-1/2" after that happens so I have easily picked up 1.5" all around. It rides a little bit differently, but I wouldn't say its worse, just different. It is nice and level, no significant rake to the front or back. I am definitely a happy camper! It aligned with no problems whatsoever.

We took it to a dirt lot near our place to do some mall crawling and get some better pictures.

Thats ok. I did a fair amount of research before my purchase. I was simply going to replace the old suspension with replacement stock parts but for about $100 more I was able to buy the rusty's kit. I don't plan to wheel or do anything beyond my basic commute with it. It's same rate as stock but seeing as I was just going to replace stock with stock originally this was more fun.

I don't disagree with you one bit. If my intention was to off-road with this or keep the vehicle for more than 3-4 years I would follow all the advice given here. The ride is nice and comfortable ... Soft. To anyone looking to off-road for any given amount of time I would also recommend a higher spring rate like OME. But for my intentions this did fit my need.

Took the wife and dog on a road trip in the KJ yesterday. We had planned on camping but my wife is pregnant and the altitude change was messing with her so we cut it short and came back home the same day. I did take a "few" pictures though.

Sunroof and Front Tow Bar Removed From 2003 KJ

Attached are a photo of the 2003 KJ I just purchased a few weeks ago, two photos of a complete sunroof assembly removed by the dealer (it was replaced with a new one at no charge to me, because it was broken while the car was at their facility), and a photo showing the front tow bar, which was removed by the dealer at my request. I'm willing to sell the sunroof and tow bar if anyone can use the parts.

Just sagging factory coils and shocks with JBA top plates, 1/2" clevis, and two extra rear upper isos per side. I have less than $600 in wheels, tires, suspension, and alignment.

I want to do OME coils, Bilstein shocks, and JBA UCAs eventually, but I'm going to wait for the factory shocks to completely take a poop first because I'm a new dad and very broke right now.

I just might have to do that also. My factory suspension is still ok. But I don't wanna put a lot of cash into a new one right now. Tight funds. Thanks for letting me know. I lie the way yours looks.
