Installed MOMO shift knob on renegade

I hate the plasticky feel of the stock 5 speed shift knob. So I started looking for a good quality shift knob and decited on the MOMO Anatomical shift knob. http://store1.yimg.com/I/fastwrx_1782_17264393
Got the knob last night from a local performance shop. Went to install it this morning and that was an adventure.
First the stock know would not twist off no matter what the pressure/direction of twist. So I remove the shift boot from the bottom of the handle and see what appears to be a allen head bolt on the bottom of the knob securing it to the shifter. I try my allen keys and none work. When I get toa smaller size allen key it goes allthe way to the other side of the knob. It was a pin drilled thru the shift knob/shifter!!!!!!! Had to tap that out and finally got the MOMO shift knob installed. Looks 1000% better and hopefully will feel better as well......

Ok here we go....
1)Buy a Jeep Liberty 5speed
1a) Buy replacement knob (very important)
2) Get in Jeep
3) Pull shift boot down off stock shift knob
4) Using small round object (possably a allen key) tap out pin at bottom of stock knob
5) Once thats done pull up on stock knob it should pull right out. note there is a spring in the stock knob that will fall out.
6) Mount your new shift knob (you did remember to buy one right?) using the supplied instructions.
7) Sit back and enjoy your new look......
