WOW low mileage for sure , how do you not have more miles ?
One of the reasons I bought it was because the mileage was just so low relative to the price. That said, while the previous owners didn't drive it much, they didn't take care of it all that well either. So I've inherited a number of things that are broken or need attention.
Recently bought an 05 Liberty with ....... wait for it........222,400 miles drove it checked all functions, everything works to specs, undercarriage is CLEAN, some surface rust but it's all solid, minor body rust Tranny, Transfer case all work 100%, did oil, Tcase and rear diff service, all other fluids were done not long ago, no leaks anywhere.....so I'm hoping to go 100k more with only typical maintenance ????
OBTW, It will need tires and rear pads/rotors soon & the rear passenger's window switch in console only puts it down, but the back switch works so for now it stays "broken" .... oh the backlight on the temperature blend control is burned out ...so what , again too much work for so little return....

Bought my 2002 two months ago with 150k on the clock. The previous owner was the original owner and he kept it on a regular maintenance schedule. Looks like the alternator and water pump were replaced recently but other than that, the Jeep was in excellent condition which is why I bought it. In the last two months I've replaced the blower fan resistor and the rear hatch gas struts. I plan to take the Jeep into service at the dealership this week to have the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module replaced under Recall, and later I will replace the power mirror switch.
Why? If it still runs good keep her going! Should have another few years left easy if its been taken care of
What does "taken care of" mean? I've dumped an awful lot of money in her in the last six years. Got her with 68K on the odometer in 2007. I suspect they were hard miles, though she still looks great and is tight and clean on the inside. Ive gone through a couple sets of tires, replaced the A/C dryer and clutch, radiator, front driveshaft, brake rotors and rear drums, belt tensioner, a couple window regulators, water pump, power steering pump, battery (twice), plus all of the regular maintenance like oil changes and fluid drain/fills. It's been a fairly expensive run. And oh yeah, the radio is shot and the passenger front running lamp/blinker assembly leaks and rotted out the wiring harness, and my son ripped the passenger seatback adjustment lever off without really trying.
bought mine new in 04
193000 on it now, two sets of brakes, (same stock rotors never turned still true), rebuilt the front driveshaft once, one radiator, and other normal routine maintenance items . Doesn't use any oil between changes, new copper plugs every 25,000 or so so routine maintenance. It gets bounced off the rev limiter once a day at least if I drive it. Worked out of my home for several years so kept the mileage low
