I could have misread, but pretty sure I didn't as when I saw it, it surprised me too.

On Monday I changed the oil and filter and I read it on either the filter box or the quart container

Careful. I shared my good mileage on this website and I got a whole crew of guys hating and flaming me and calling me a liar.

If you've got something good going for you.. best to keep it to yourself here. A lot of jealous rage floats around on this site.

Before winter in Ohio- 21-22 MPG- during winter 18-19.5MPG..
I am lucky if I can get over 250 miles without a fillup- come on warm weather - I miss going nearly 350 ona tank..and on the long drive over 400 miles.

and as much as some will hate me for saying this- I do use the Bosch Plat 4 plugs w/ almost 50k on them..

I am either lucky or well other buy into horror stories way too easy..

Don't know how far I can go since I never get much below 1/2 tank, hate to run out or get in an area where gas is higher priced so fill up often.
Plus its harder on the fuel pump to run them down low

I have an automatic Liberty '04 Sport with the 3.7L V6 (19.5L tank, presumably) that I almost never let fall below half tank. I'm shocked at the mileage people are getting! Out of a half tank, I will get 110-130 miles (usually 115-120).

I bought my Jeep used with 80k or 82k miles (now with around 88.5k miles) and as far as I know, it is stock and in great condition. I don't have a lead foot and my driving is mainly highway (2/3) with some city (1/3). I drive with O/D off, if that makes any difference. Interestingly enough, I did not notice any siggnificant change in my mileage when I went from the standard tires that came with my Jeep to the Blizzack winter tires I currently have on (and should have taken off a while ago). I'd love to hear any tips you have for better mileage! (Note: this is my first car, so even your basic, common sense suggestions would probably help).

I have an 05 with the 3.7 and usually get around 360ish to the tank. I'm probably 50/50 for highway and town driving. That does include letting it idle for a few minutes to warm up, it's still kinda cold here. Hopefully the mileage will go up when it gets waked out.

It makes a huge difference if your mostly doing highway driving, let it shift into overdrive.

What is the tank size in the liberty...? Is it standard across all models?

I only get paid biweekly so I usually get until the light comes on, then drive another 30 miles before I get to fill up.

I've never run out of gas, but the most gas I've ever been able to fit in one fill up after running it 30 miles past the light was 16.67 gallons.

I've heard of this logic before.

My husband beats me four times a day.. so you should be happy if your husband only beats you three times a day (happy dance)

Um... how about not getting beat at all?

I know.. I know... way out of the box thinking.

I googled again and it looks like I misunderstood when O/D is on or off. To clarify: I always drive with the O/D light off.
